Other Characters Currently In-Game: Ciel Phantomhive from Kuroshitsuji
Character Name: Syaoran Li. (Technically "Xiao Lang Li", but everyone uses the japanese romanization for him)
Series: Tsubasa World Chronicle (Sequel to Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. Also cameos in Tsubasa's sibling manga xxxHoLiC)
Age: Early 20s (let's say 25 for balance), although his body looks around 16ish due to magic shenanigans. See history. Has lived an extra 7 years in a different timeline as well.
From When?: End of Tsubasa World Chronicle.
Warden Justification: Why does the Admiral think your character would be useful as a warden here? What do they bring to the table? Regardless of their methods and motivations, do they have the capacity to help an inmate achieve graduation?
In terms of being able to be a nurturing, positive influence on someone, he did raise a child who turned out to be just as kind-hearted and all around good as he is. (This is funny because they're the same person. See history section.) He also has experience travelling with people who had been through great hardships and done pretty awful things, but who - largely because of his influence and his girlfriend's - got over their pasts and chose to be better people.
Given his own tragic past, including a time where he had lost his soul and went rampaging as a murderer across worlds, he's also both not likely to be a harsh judge of many people's actions, and not likely to budge to an inmate's influence on him when it comes to doing The Right Things, being aware of how much it weights on you to do awful things to others. He is incredibly determined and quite stubborn when needed, so he would definitely give his all to ensure an inmate's graduation is successful.
Item: A white feather.
Abilities/Powers: Syaoran's powers in his new incarnation are slightly vague, but they mostly involve elemental magic (such as fire attacks, or wind to shield himself). Technically from the point he's from, he shouldn't have the magic available, but I'd like for the Admiral to give it back to him.
Aside from his magic, he's also trained in a battle style using wild kicks, and can use a sword (a katana). He's also really good with anything that's hand-made, so he's great at sewing and cooking, for example.
Wardening Strategies and Philosophies: How will your character respond to and operate on the Barge at large? How will they view their role as warden, and how will they engage their inmate in their efforts to help them on their path to redemption? What are their wardening strengths and weaknesses likely to be? What sorts of inmates would your character pair best with, and conversely, what sorts of inmates would they not be such a good fit for?
Given his personality, he would take his role very seriously. He would find paths to redemption (and a release from an untimely death) incredibly important and meaningful, and do his best to ensure he can help others achieve this goal. He would definitely want to talk at length with his assigned inmates, and offer his own stories and experiences as guidance as much as he can. He'd also want to help with anything else he has skills with, such as learning swordfighting, using magic, or even cooking. His strenghts would be his kindness, honesty, understanding, and a great treshold for awful things, having done awful things himself plenty, and his weaknesses would probably be that deep down he's really just a good person and he'll never fully understand truly awful people.
On that note, he'd pair up well with those whose issues come from deep traumas, rather than truly evil cores.
Deal: He can meet up with Sakura, his wife, one more time. (Should a Sakura be apped into the game, he'd consider himself indebted and keep going as long as she's around for sure.)
History: Please feel free to have me clarify anything that doesn't make sense, it's a very loopy and twisty storyline. TO SUMMARIZE, he's the clone of his own son from the future, who once took his son's place in a distant world of Clow. He travelled with Fay and Kurogane and Mokona when his girlfriend Sakura lost her soul in the form of scattered pieces shaped like magical feathers which flew across the multiverse. Eventually he lost his heart magically and became a mindless killer trying to get more feathers at any cost. He is jolted back to reality when he kills Sakura by accident, and plots to take down the guy causing all of this, Fei Wong Reed. He dies in the battle, but is granted a wish to be reincarnated... and fathers his son, Tsubasa "Syaoran" Li, and the loop begins anew. He and Sakura, having rejuvenated to their teenage years via magic that kept them safe outside of space and time, show up for the final battle against Reed, but their magically formed bodies disappear.
Later on his body and soul are brought to a magical location called the Utaki, to fight against his son who had to make a wish, and despite their brief reunion he disappears once more. His son then continues his journey to find a way to bring him back.

[It shows what looks like a young teenager with messy brown hair, rather cute and harmless in appearance, smiling tentatively at the communicator.]
Hello, my name is Syaoran Li. I've only just arrived, so I apologize in advance if I'm doing anything wrong. I thought I should introduce myself first. I'll be a new Warden here starting today, so I hope we can all get along.
To those who have been Wardens for a longer time, is there anything in particular I should be aware of? [He wants to do this right.] To those who are Inmates, is there anything you would've liked your own Wardens to be aware of at first? Or anything that bothered you at all? I'd like to know.
Sample RP:
[Once his introductions are done, Syaoran decides to explore some more while he waits for replies. Obviously, people might be busy or simply not feel like chatting right now, so it makes sense to give it a little time. In the meantime, he visits a few locations here and there, happy to be able to roam around freely, much as a closed location like a ship allows him to. He feels tempted to ask if he'd be able to cook something in the kitchens later, as it's been a long time since he was able to make anything with his own hands.
And of course, he ends up at the library, because his love of books is there across multiple incarnations.
He's impressed at the variety they have available, and becomes so engrossed in browsing and picking a few books to start reading that he almost forgets about what he'd asked others about. So he has to put the tomes aside to instead pick up the communicator and chat with others again. It's important that he gets this right - he would do anything in order to meet with Sakura once more.]
